CHURCH OF NATURAL WISDOM

CHURCH OF NATURAL WISDOM

The Church Of Natural Wisdom was born from the necessity to restore a sense of responsibility toward nature and humanity. Most of our world today is plagued by corruption and in a dangerous ethical decline.
Materialism, greed, exploitation, and false supernatural beliefs are some of the causes of the increased erosion in human values.
We believe that all life forms have an inherent necessity to exist and maximize their potential in an evolutionary process.
We believe that humanity in using science guided by love must restore a balance between nature and our complex technological society.
We believe that a just and humane society must come forward with a new vision,
(a cultural and ethical revolution from within.)
We believe that we can accomplish this by applying natural principles as a guiding wisdom and form a bond with others with a greater sense of respect for life and for a better future.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

1... With logic we seek freedom from anger and fear.
2... Death is the cessation of all bodily functions and our intellectual
conscious mind.
3... Wisdom is the ultimate state for a pleasant and honorable life.
4... Justice, peace and science must be guided by love and respect for nature
and human society.
5... Wisdom, love, logic and respect must be our highest values.
6... Natural desires must be guided by wisdom.
7... In wisdom there is no poverty, but individual wealth if not limited is great poverty.
8... Learning and moderated pleasures must advance side by side.
9... The higher possessions are wisdom and knowledge.
10.. The higher evils are the quest for material possessions and ignorance.
11.. To be free from material attachment is a mark of higher wisdom.
12.. Good science guided by love dispels fears.
13.. All pleasures must be measured against its opposites.
14.. The more we have in material possessions the less we are.
15.. We cannot bring unhappiness to others without corrupting our own
personal integrity.
16.. Wisdom only comes by recognizing and correcting our own faults.
17.. Wisdom and friendship bring a sense of strength and immortality.
18.. The pursuit of higher wisdom must never be limited by age or time.
19.. False assumptions have created false frightening Gods and evil spirits.
20.. The wise individuals can easily separate facts and opinions.
Facts are based on verifiable observations and good science,
opinions are personal beliefs; some are based on false religions,
prejudices, dogmas of faith, and superstitions.

  4. The past is a lesson.
    The future is a possibility.
The present moment is the only thing that really matters. Live in the moment, stay aware of the all are one, be at peace with everything outside of your sphere of influence, and you will grow and be happy.

  5. From 13 Moon calendar:

    May wisdom dawn in us
So we may see all things in clarity

    May wisdom ripen in us
So we may know all from within

May wisdom be transformed into right action
So we may do what must be done

May right action reap the harvest
So we may enjoy the fruits of planetary being

  7. Daily Affirmation for today: Blue Lunar Monkey

I polarize in order to play. Stabilizing illusion.
I seal the process of magic.
With the lunar tone of challenge.
I am guided by the power of abundance.

Not entirely sure what to make of this. Any thoughts?

  8. There are so many thoughts.. some more interesting or meaningful than others.
I think its helpful to be able to separate opinions (thoughts originated by religious/supernatural beliefs) and factual expressions that can be actually useful in our everyday lives.

  10. My world is a secular world, free from religious ideas, free from wars and aggression.
My world is a peaceful world, where respect for all life forms it’s an authoritative principle. In my world I make a distinction between facts and opinions.

  11. God almighty?
God All-nothing obviously! Religions based on supernatural beliefs where invented to control and exploit people, enslave their minds and send them to fight in stupid wars. To me its mind boggling that people do not see that.

  12. The successful Bolivarian movements I believe are intended to put the power back in the hands of the people, to give the people a voice. It is a movement towards more equality and democracy. I think the goal is peace, but it cannot always be achieved peacefully. Seems paradoxical, but as long as the will of the people is being suppressed and there is much injustice and inequality, there is no peace. Internal/personal peace is much easier to achieve from a position of privilege. There is a place for personal reflection and peace, but the struggle continues.

  13. It is natural for the oppressed to regain their freedom, and for the oppressors to justify their actions.
Democracy in the hands of a religious fanatical mob can be easily manipulated..
I believe "democracy" can only be applied effectively in an educated secular society.

  14. Or in a society that works with the natural rhythms and processes of the living world. We are at war with our provider and with ourselves. Through inner peace and re-alignment with nature, we can achieve the continuity of life and its evolution. The indigenous peoples who continue to live as they have for thousands of generations have religions, and believe in the "super-natural". They are not educated in the modern sense, but they respect the providers- mother Earth, father Sea, brother fire, and sister Air. The Church of Natural Wisdom could be viewed as a modern version of these ancient religions.

  15. To be able to balance our lives in a natural rhythm is the goal.. Many "primitive" societies knew how to reach that goal, but we must not forget that the tendency has always been in interpreting the natural phenomena as "God given gifts" Thus distorting the scientific reality and opening the door to abusive beliefs..
There is a long list of religions that took that approach with the horrible consequences
    we have now.
So.. I do believe that avoiding the supernatural beliefs nonsense is the right path for a better society.
